"The school is a calm and happy place of learning. Staff give pupils the self-confidence to try new things and achieve success" - Ofsted 2017

News from KS3B

KS3B have been working hard this term learning about fairy stories in English and we are nearly ready to write our own stories.

In Topic, we have been learning about the local area.  Last week we went on a walk around Alvaston and Alvaston Park, taking photographs of things and places that interested us.  On our return to school, we located these places on a map.  This week, we spent a lovely day walking along the River Derwent and visiting the River Amber.  We were very lucky with the weather and we were able to have a picnic (and a play) at the River Gardens in Belper.
