Flags For The Fallen
National Memorial Arboretum – Flags for the Fallen
Staff and Students have taken part in an international project at the National Memorial Arboretum to remember the fallen soldiers of WW1.
We were given the names and details of 150 soldiers who lost their lives during the war between 1914 and 1918 and asked to create individual flags of remembrance to be displayed with other schools around the world at the Arboretum in a special installation.
During the process of creating the flags students were asked to research the soldier that they were given to find out more on a personal level individually.
