Our students had quite an exciting Outdoor Ed. session last week. Whilst canoeing along the River Derwent, they came across a sheep in the river. Howard jumped out of the boat, waded across to the sheep and helped it to the river bank. What a hero!

Debbie and Kerry went with Matt, James and Mia to give a keynote speech at Nottingham Trent University yesterday. National Memorial Arboretum – Flags for the Fallen Staff and Students have taken part in an international project at the National Memorial Arboretum to remember the fallen soldiers of WW1. We were given the names and details of 150 soldiers who lost their lives during the war between 1914 and 1918 and asked to create individual flags of remembrance to be displayed with other schools around the world at the Arboretum in a special […]
