Now in Year 11, students continue to work on improving their skills in Maths and English.
They are focused on their individualised and diverse accreditation pathways and with support we encourage each student to maximise their achievements and qualifications.
Students are encouraged to take on additional leadership and mentoring responsibilities within school to build their confidence and prepare them for the transition to Post-16 education as well as for further learning and life beyond school.
It is time to consolidate their skills and attitudes, recognising and celebrating all their achievements.
The final year in school always goes by very quickly so we look forward to having fun and making it the best year ever.
KS4RC have been visiting placements such as Leesbrook, Horizons, Derby College and Broomfield, making applications and attending interviews ready for their next steps into Post-16. They have visited East Midlands Airport as part of the Careers Local enterprise with DEBP making a presentation to airport staff on a new service that could open there.
