Youth Mayor Election

St Martins is part of the Voices in Action, a Youth Council.  It is a group for young people aged 11 to 19 years old to represent their school, support group or youth project. We have three representatives – Connor, Mia and Kristian. They attend monthly meetings and discuss a range of different topics that affect children and young people. They do a marvellous job at representing and sharing the views of young people at meetings.

The Voices in Action Council is led by a Youth Mayor and Deputy Mayor. Everyone at St Martins and Horizons has voted for who they think is suitable for the job. They watched their election speeches and then cast their votes in the official booths with an official ballot box.
