KS3BG

KS3BG had an excellent first half term! They worked hard in all of their lessons and produced some fantastic work. During their English lessons they explored ‘The Name Jar’ book, they have created acrostic poems using their names, found out the meaning of their names, wrote instructions for supporting someone new to school and explore the country Korea.

In Maths we have been exploring numbers and place value. We have all developed our confidence with numbers and beginning to show off everything we already know in maths.

In our Class Based Topic we have been exploring the Rainforests, which we have really enjoyed! It has been so much fun learning about where they are, what animals live in them and comparing them to forests in the UK.

As we are new to the school, we have been developing friendships and working with each other to learn more about each other. One of our favourite activities was created chalk pictures on the playground. They were beautiful and showed off some of our talents.

See below for some pictures of our learning and memories created during Autumn 1.
