KS3FC

KS3FC are having an amazing first half term!  We have worked hard on all our lessons and are forming friendships within our class. During  English lessons we have explored the book ‘the Arrival’ by Shaun Tan, a beautiful story about refugees that has developed the students vocabulary and imaginations, through giving characters back stories, creating our own narratives for a graphic novel and describing characters and settings

In Maths we have been exploring numbers and place value. We have all developed our confidence with Addition and Subtraction and working on our problem solving and reasoning skills

In Our class Project we have focused on making a difference in our own community by organising sponsored litter picks and raising awareness of the issue of litter by running an assembly in school and making leaflets to give out to local primary schools.

See below for some pictures of our learning and memories created during Autumn 1.
