KS3KW

We are all enjoying settling into the new school year in KS3KW, getting to know each other and our new timetable. We have helped each other with our new way of working and supported each other with all the changes that have happened. We have made a strong start to the year focusing on our Maths, English and specialist lessons. We are enjoying learning how to use new tools in forest schools, working on our class enterprise project making spooky Halloween decorations!

Keira, Lauren and Tim are incredibly proud of the students of KS3KW for their efforts and look forward seeing this class succeed their goals this year.

Autumn 2

KS3KW have been working hard this half term and here are some of the things that we have been learning about!

Maths:

In maths we have been learning more about multiplication and division, finding out different methods of working, so we can choose what we prefer!

English:

We have linked our topic to our English lessons this half term, learning all about natural disasters, facts, opinions, and how to use facts to make a report.

Science:

We have been learning all about the solar system and the different planets this half term.

PE:

We have been developing our fitness with a range of circuits and challenges including a boot camp!

PHSE + Citizenship

We have been using group discussions to discuss matters such as relationships and homelessness, everyone has been very mature and expressed some really good ideas!
