Home learning timetable: KS3TM home learning
Music: Music Spring 1 Home-learning
KS3TM have made an excellent start to the new school year! All the children have settled back in, reuniting friendships and having a good catch up. They have been exceptional in coping and adapting to the new changes in school.
English has been extremely thought provoking, as we have been learning lots about refugees, thanks to our text ‘The boy at the back of the classroom’. The children are engrossed and having very mature discussions within class on this topic. They are currently producing persuasive letters to send to the Home Secretary on the matter. In maths, we have been revisiting numbers and place value. The children have managed to dive straight in and show us just how much knowledge they have retained! We are working lots on our problem solving skills also.
We have been learning about Rainforests for our class-based topic. We are exploring the impact climate change and humankind can have on these areas. We are really enjoying this and have produced some amazing factual books (pictures pending!)
In the coming weeks, we will be continuing to support each other through our journey together and keep striving to be the Fantastic class we are!
