Welcome to the class page of KS4CG. Here we will keep you up to date on our fantastic learning journeys and achievements.
Our class is supported by Claire and Fotini and we have 7 fabulous students in Years 10 and 11.
We are working hard towards gaining our accreditations across different subjects and individually have chosen some great options that we do each Friday.
14th September 2020- Great Start to the School Year!
We have made a great start to the new school year and are really enjoying being back in school.
3 students in our class are running for Head boy/girl positions and as a class we are really proud of the effort they have put into their speeches.
16th September 2020- PE in the sunshine whilst it lasts!
This half term we are developing our communication, teamwork and gross motor skills using football as a theme. We’ve really enjoyed being active and outside in the sunshine.
1st October – Searching for a new book
Our class this week have been searching for a new perfect book for them to read in school and take home! They have found lots of interesting books to read.
7th October – Footie mad!
We have loved being able to play football and get fit in the sunshine. Our class have got some good football talent. We’ve even made up our own winning goal move!
19th October – Exploring our community
KS4CG have enjoyed going out into the community and exploring different routes.
23rd October – What a great half term
Our students have worked extremely hard this half term and we a so proud of each and everyone of our students.

4th November – Exploring number

9th November – Remembrance Day
Our guys this week have been creating poppies to remember everyone involved in the war. They have been creating red and purple poppies, and colouring in beautiful wreaths.
11th December- Busy, Busy, Busy!
What a busy week we have had. We have been decorating the Christmas door, Diary writing and making lovely food in food tech. We have also been involved with Christmas jumper day and raising money for Save the Children. Well done everyone. You all look fabulous!

9th February – Children’s Mental Health Week
Today we are wearing clothes and making an afternoon tea later on. What a day!
This half term we’ve been thinking of ways we can make other people feel happy. We decided to decorate flowerpots and plant some beautiful plants in them. We are now going to give them to a care home for the elderly in Borrowash. We really hope it brings some brightness into their days.
