KS4SW

Twelve amazing students and three equally great staff make up KS4SW. Sam, Joe and Helen are the staff team.

The students have just started in their journey in Key Stage 4 and face an exciting couple of years ahead. They will be working hard in English and Maths alongside their choice of Vocational options to gain the qualifications needed for their futures.

The students are already focused on their individualised and diverse accreditation pathways and with the right support and a focus on our SHAPE curriculum, skills and attitudes and the skills required for work, we will encourage each of them to maximise their achievements.

Some of the vocational options chosen by our class include Animal Care, giving students the skills required to look after animals in the future should they choose a career in this area. Students are currently learning how to handle animals confidently and gain the ability to cope with upsetting situations that can arise from working with injured or mistreated animals.

Other members of the class have decided to partake in Jamie Oliver’s cooking option. They have chosen this option because they want to become confident cooks in the future.

Sport, History and the Duke of Edinburgh were some of the other popular options.

We look forward to seeing all of the KS4SW students achieve what they’ve set out to achieve and have a fun year whilst they do it! We will keep this page updated regularly with exciting moments taken from the learning journeys of all.
