School was closed for training. We would like to say thank you to all those who attended, especially pupils who gave up their day off. It is fantastic to see the support and enthusiasm for our school from all those people with a vested interested.

On Thursday 23rd April St Martins held an official opening day with guests from UK Footgolf Governing Body, Bryan Hughes an Ex Premier League footballer, Liam from Schools Sports Partnership, Radio Derby and Derby City Council. Our amazing Fairtrade team partnered up with Noel Baker sixth form and baked lots of cake all made from Fairtrade ingredients. We sold these cakes along side Fairtrade tea, coffee and hot chocolate and raised a massive £288 for Fairtrade! It was a brilliant morning and Key Stage Three D represented St Martins really well! Some of the St Martins team have been working extremely hard towards making St Martins a ‘Duke of Edinburgh accredited centre’! The determination and hard work has paid off! We are now a Duke of Edinburgh Award Accredited Centre!
Congratulations to four of our wonderful staff who have worked so hard to achieve Derby University degrees.
