We are currently working in school and with parents/carers to relaunch our PTA. This is a great opportunity for collaborative work enabling St Martins to continue to thrive with the help of fundraising and additional support.
We are seeking parents/carers who would be interested in joining the PTA to fulfill specific roles as well as to come along to meetings and share your ideas and thoughts. Our aim is to raise funds to support the continued provision of residential trips and other exciting opportunities that the students of St Martins benefit from so greatly.
Please pass along your name to your child’s pastoral tutor if you would like to put yourself forward for joining us, or would like some more information. Our students have always been and always will be at the centre of everything we do at St Martins. We want to bring our parents and carers in to share in making those memories and those experiences that shape our students’ futures.
Our next meeting is on Monday 10th June at 1:00pm – we would love to see you there.
PTA UPDATE NOVEMBER 2019
Your newly formed PTA is going from strength to strength. We have seen the committee grow from 3 to 10 and there are many exciting opportunities ahead. Recently the PTA applied for charitable status and the aim is to raise as much money as we can to support social activities for all children attending school. Thanks to all parents and young people who completed the questionnaire, this has really helped us to prioritise the way forward.
An exciting piece of news…! We are launching the St Martin’s School Lottery – 40% of the lottery is paid back to school and prizes can be won weekly. The first draw will be on Saturday 8th February 2020. A leaflet will be sent home soon – sign-up starts on Thursday 12th December.
