A big welcome from KS4MBU!

We are a class of 7 students in years 10 and 11 that range in levels and abilities, we work mainly in our own class but access specialist areas throughout the school. Our classroom is well organised, calm and a safe place to learn.

We love learning together as a group but also have the support that we need to work 1:1 or in smaller groups when needed.

We have lessons including: Maths, English, Science, ICT, PE, Citizenship and Global Education. We also have options on Fridays in subjects such as Cooking, Gardening, Digital Technology, Hair and Beauty, Duke of Edinburgh Award and Earth Life

We also focus on Life skills, learning to look after ourselves to become independent adults. We enjoy off site visits based on our learning in school.

Autumn Term 2019

This term we are focusing on:

English – Additional English Exploring Narratives

Maths – Entry Level Certificate – Properties of Number and the 4 operations

Science – AIM award on Health and Safety in the Science Lab.

We all love working and learning in KS4MBU!

Update – December 2019

KS4MBu have been looking at lots of safety this term. They have worked on Health and Safety in the lab in Science and Crossing the road safely when out on trips or visits to the park and shop. And located all the fire exits and fire assembly points in school

They also took part in the Shape challenge day where they looked at all sorts of aspects of SHAPE and had a really good day.
